Prep Weekend for Engaged Couples

We are delighted to help you get ready for the amazing journey of marriage!

Marriage: A Great Adventure is dedicated to providing couples with a comprehensive preparation for the Catholic Sacrament of Matrimony and all aspects of married life.

Our program will help you understand and embrace the truth about God's plan for you and for marriage.

Discover how and why Catholic Christian marriages rooted in grace, love, respect, unity, exclusivity, permanence and openness to life will help you create a marvelous adventure together in this life and establish you on a sure path to Heaven!

The Weekend at a Glance

Thursday and Friday: 6:30pm - 9:00pm

Saturday:  8:45am - 5:30pm

Sunday:  8:45am - 2:30pm

Couples depart each day and return the next day.

Mass celebrated Saturday and Sunday

All sessions will take place at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1914 N. Randolph St, Arlington, Virginia.

Please Note:

Couples who wish to get married in the Catholic Church must begin sacramental preparation at least six months before the wedding.

Contact your local parish to schedule a meeting with a priest or deacon to begin the process.

Once you complete our program, we will provide you with a certificate of completion to give to your parish.
